The Marshall Alternative Program (MAP) is a district-wide middle school magnet program located at Marshall Middle School on Olympia’s west side.
MAP is a multi-grade program, with 6th, 7th and 8th; 57 students and 2 teachers. All three grades work together in the same classrooms for approximately half-the-day. A few of the unique features of MAP are 8th grade exit Projects, Friday mini-courses, 3-day field school, community volunteering, and narrative evaluations.
